We are looking for experienced Software Engineers to join our technology-based program supporting a key government customer. This program delivers Enterprise Computing engineering services with modern technology solutions with that function both on customer premise, and via remote Cloud services. As a mission-focused Administrator that solves problems on the program, you will be expected to: Recognize the issue(s), Identify the facts, Define additional data that would be helpful, Make assumptions as necessary, Determine alternative approaches, Evaluate alternatives, Make recommendations, Alter assumptions and rework solutions, and Reflect on lessons learned.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills We are actively seeking Software Engineers with a minimum of 16 years' experience. Undergraduate or graduate degree in computer science or computer engineering. Specific skills and responsibilities may include the following…

• The ability to engage constructively with peers and technical lead to communicate the technical approach, trade-offs, and technical decisions
• Effective communication skills (both verbal and written)
• Apply understanding of technical issues surrounding the designing, building and testing of software operating on cloud platforms and frameworks
• Proficiency with Java and JavaScript to build modern, dynamic user interfaces and backends
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment, continuous deployment, agile methodologies
• Highly motivated and able to work well in both team and solo settings
• Minimum of 9 years of software design, code and test experience
• Well versed with using version control and issue/problem tracking systems
• Provides inputs to project documentation including but not limited to requirements, user and administration guides, and release notes.
• Ability to innovate, evaluate and research new technologies while staying abreast of industry trends
• Motivated individual with strong problem-solving abilities
• Work with Scrum Masters and other developers to understand design requirements and provide estimates for development

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

• Ability to lead the development of program-level solutions, discrepancies, and enhancements.
• Experience in cloud-based concepts such as AWS or Azure
• Experience using DevSecOps tools such as Git, Docker, Fortify, Nexus, Jenkins
• Experience navigating Section 508 requirements.
• Experience building UI's with modern tools and standards like Angular, React, and NodeJS

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $136620 - $232210

Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
