Job Title: Freelance Software Engineer (React/React Native)

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Freelance Software Engineer to join our team and assist in the development of an AI-powered personal habit tracker app. As a Software Engineer, you will be responsible for turning Figma files into a React web app and a React Native mobile app, with Firebase as the backend.

Responsibilities:

- Collaborate with the design team to convert Figma files into a visually appealing and user-friendly React web app and React Native mobile app.

- Develop front-end components and implement them into the applications.

- Integrate with Firebase backend services for data storage, authentication, and other necessary functionalities.

- Optimize the performance and responsiveness of the applications.

- Ensure the codebase is scalable, maintainable, and well-documented.

- Collaborate with the project team, including other developers and stakeholders, to meet project deadlines and objectives.

- Stay up to date with the latest web and mobile development trends and technologies.

Requirements:

- Strong proficiency in React.js and React Native frameworks.

- Experience in developing web and mobile applications using React.js and React Native respectively.

- Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and related web technologies.

- Familiarity with Firebase backend services, including Firestore, Authentication, and Cloud Functions.

- Ability to convert design mockups into functional applications.

- Experience with version control systems, such as Git.

- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

- Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Nice to have:

- Experience working with Figma design files.

- Knowledge of UI/UX best practices.

- Familiarity with continuous integration and deployment tools.
