What you'll do


  • Able to assist in assembling architectural plans and artifacts for parts of the system they understand
  • Recognized as competent in either the team's front end or back end programming language.
  • Starts to explore our key technology frameworks used in their organization
  • Makes use of appropriate design patterns and existing software strategy in the codebase they work with
  • Identifies opportunities to question the status quo and thinks creatively about own work
  • Works to improve technical skills by seeking second opinions on their technical approach
  • Takes scoped problem and accurately executes work, often without guidance from engineering leadership
  • Writes appropriate automated tests to validate their work: unit, integration, contract, etc.
  • Identifies opportunities for refactoring and advocates for funneling that work to engineering roadmap, or into existing customer feature development where appropriate
  • Drives specific initiatives that have proven business results
  • Proactively thinks beyond the explicit assignment to ask second-order questions and identify additional needs
  • Offers a prioritized set of solutions to business challenges/problems

What you'll need


  • 3+ years working as a Software Engineer
  • Experience with React, TypeScript or JavaScript libraries
  • 3+ years of .NET Core, C# experience
  • Independently determines / develops approach to solutions
  • Has sufficient knowledge to independently interpret and follow procedures associated with specific transactions and practices in one broad work process. Actively seeks professional growth. Conducts own work within a defined area of responsibility. Develops knowledge in at least one other process
  • Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience engineering experience

Salary
$88,000 - $125,000 a year
This position has a career path which provides for advancement opportunities within and across bands as you develop and evolve in the position; gaining experience, expertise and acquiring and applying technical skills. Candidates will be assessed and provided offers against the minimum qualifications of this role and their individual experience.
