Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Software Engineer to join our team in Aurora, CO. The position is part of a team that provides software development support for an organization that is tasked with dissemination of data to various customers within the Intelligence Community.


Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To


  • Working individually or as part of a team
  • Resolving software problem reports
  • Reviewing and testing software components
  • Utilizing software development and software design methodologies appropriate to the development environment
  • Developing, maintaining, and enhancing software systems


Basic Qualifications


  • Bachelor’s degree and 7 years of experience or 11 years of total experience
  • Write or review software and system documentation
  • Design and code new software or modify existing software to add new features
  • Analyze user requirements to derive software design and performance requirements
  • Implement recommendations for improving documentation and software development process standards
  • Debug existing software and correct defects
  • Assist with developing and executing test procedures for software components
  • Write or review software and system documentation
  • Provide recommendations for improving documentation and software development process standards
  • Integrate existing software into new or modified systems or operating environments

  • Linux (BASH)

  • Atlassian Tool Suite (JIRA, Confluence)

Security Clearance Requirements


  • Current and active TS/SCI with polygraph based upon a SSBI


Physical Requirements


  • The person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers, management and customers, which may involve delivering presentations.
  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%.
  • Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer.


The projected compensation range for this position is $90,600-$120,000. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories. In addition, ManTech invests in it’s employees beyond just compensation.
