Software Engineer Jobs

Boulder Imaging is seeking a Software Engineer to contribute to the development and enhancement of our artificial-intelligence technology IdentiFlight®, designed for the protection of Eagles and endangered bird species, as well as our cutting-edge machine vision inspection systems Reserve, Architect, TechnoPrint, and Coatings. Qualifications and Skills

•Experience in two or all the following OO languages: C++, C#, Python.

•Experience/demonstrated competence developing OO solutions.

•Experience in designing/implementing efficient algorithms, data structures and interfaces.

•Highly motivated and willing to devote time and effort to accelerated learning.

•Self-starter with can-do attitude and ability to work with little supervision.

•Exposure at the professional level to most, or all, of the software development lifecycle.

•Conceptual understanding of abstractions, templating, and efficient resource handling.

•Proven experience debugging moderately complex software developed by someone else.

Distinguishing Qualifications and Skills

•OO design; concurrency; design patterns; real time application development.

•Experience developing applications that are extensible, scalable, performant, and maintainable.

•Familiarity with STL, Boost, OpenCV, C++11.

•Experience with concurrency, multi-threading friendly development.

•Prior experience in computer vision.

•Prior experience in data visualization.

•Relational, transactional database design/implementation.

•SQL Server, PostgreSQL.

•Prior experience in Dash (Plotly).

•Exposure to or prior experience in scalable network programming, DB architecture or exponentially growing data.

•Solid mathematical foundation/educational background.

Education and Work Experience

•BS Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Physics, Mathematics or equivalent.

•Ideally 3-5 (minimum 2) years of development experience (C++, C#, Python) preferably in an industrial or commercial setting.

Salary

$75,000 - $100,000/year
