About The Role

Passionate about software design? Your next role could deliver the software needed for a smart, inclusive, and sustainable future. We’re on the lookout for an enthusiastic and personable Software Developer who can help us bring next-generation software to our customers across the country.

What You’ll Be Doing

As part of the Technical Operations team, you’ll be involved in the design, development, and maintenance of software solutions that enable efficient and reliable communication for our customers across the country. It’s a role with a lot of variety, and day-to-day, you’ll mainly be involved with:

• Working collaboratively and creatively with customers both internal and external to ensure success.
• Utilizing graphic design tools such as Sketch (Mac), Photoshop, Illustrator, and SVG.
• Utilizing Node.js and Express framework, its packages, APIs, and releases, to assist in Captive Portal production and support.
• Ensuring enforcement of information security best practices to maintain network integrity.
• Learning new languages and tools to best fit the needs of the projects at hand.

What You’ll Bring

Think you could make a difference here? We’re looking for someone who genuinely cares about the welfare of our team. You’ll want to make an impact from day one. With big ideas about how to improve our culture and the knowledge to get people on board. You will also have some of the following:

• Familiarity with infrastructure as code tools: Terraform and Ansible.
• Familiarity with cloud services: AWS, Digital Ocean, and tools like HAProxy and Nats.
• The ability to provide commercially sound, risk mitigating advice on issues such as performance management and termination.
• Knowledge and enforcement of information security best practices for network integrity.
• Bachelor’s Degree required from an accredited university with a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in managing/administering complex Cisco networks.
• Proficiency in programming languages: GoLang, Python, and Bash/Shell Scripting HTML,
• Proficiency in front-end frameworks: React, Angular, Svelte, and Vue.js.
• Expertise in Node.js, Typescript, Javascript, Kubernetes, Docker, Helm, CSS, HTML
