SolutionWerx, Inc. is looking for a motivated, full stack developer to jump into code for our various enterprise level systems with experience in ASP.Net, VB.Net, JavaScript, Transact SQL and Entity Framework. We prefer a developer familiar with an iterative and incremental, agile software development framework. If you do not meet all the qualifications, we still encourage you to apply as you may still be considered depending on your level of experience and other important factors.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related field OR at least 8 years of software development experience
• U.S. Citizen
• Proven work experience as a Software Engineer or Software Developer
• Familiarity with modern architectures and communication frameworks
• Familiarity with web and mobile applications
• Minimum of 6 years in ASP.Net, VB, C#, JavaScript and Transact SQL
• Intermediate to advanced knowledge in HTML/XML and Azure
• Experience in code vulnerability analysis

Responsibilities:

• Supporting continuous code improvement by investigating alternatives and new technologies
• Contribute to code and technical documentation
• Interact with customers and attend requirement meetings as needed
• Troubleshoot, debug and resolve reported issues
• Participating in code reviews
• Work with IDEs (e.g., Visual Studio) and task/version control (e.g., Team Foundation Servers)
• Assist Team in executing full lifecycle software development
• Write well-designed, testable, efficient code
• Collaborate with Team on quality assurance testing

• Proficiency in software engineering tools
• Experience in code security and vulnerabilities
• Hands-on experience developing test cases, test plans and quality assurance procedures
• Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks
• Excellent understanding of coding methods and best practices
• Strong written, oral and interpersonal communication skills
• Highly self-motivated with ability to multi-task and shift priorities quickly
• Ability to document requirements and specifications
• Managing software development practices in a collaborative and agile fashion
• Ability to work both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
• Willingness to learn and understand new technologies

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to $90,000.00 per year
