JOB SUMMARY

Nabors is seeking high performing summer intern for Full stack software Developer. Provide hands-on support for developing cloud based web applications and design, develop, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure Pipelines . Test, analyze and resolve technical issues, while writing new code or revising code, which helps drive business results. Build your skills and knowledge in real life business scenarios. Internship is based in Houston, TX.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Implement and maintain pipeline metrics and monitoring to ensure pipelines are running efficiently and proactively identify issues
• Provide support and guidance to development teams on pipeline best practices
• Experience with Azure DevOps or other similar DevOps tools
• Experience with build and release automation, and continuous integration and delivery practices
• Document & test software applications
• Proficiency with YAML-based pipeline definition and deployment automation
• Need to understand new Azure Pipeline features and functionality and recommend changes to optimize pipeline performance
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code that follows best practices and coding standards.
• Collaborate with DevOps teams to ensure that pipelines and builds are secure, reliable, and scalable
• Design, develop, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure Pipelines
• Knowledge of back-end technologies such as Node.js.
• Implement and maintain automated build, test, and deployment processes
• Strong experience in setting up and configuring Azure Pipelines for CI/CD pipelines
• Gain knowledge and experience in automation and maintenance
• Collaborate with other developers to design and implement RESTful web services and APIs.
• Test and debug the web APIs to ensure the quality and reliability of the code.
• Document pipeline configuration, processes, and best practices
• Design, develop, and maintain C# web APIs.
• Familiarity with database technologies such as POSTGRES or any SQL databases.
• Work with development teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues with pipelines and builds

Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS

• Various SQL databases including Postgres and MySql
• Troubleshooting skills
• Python ,PowerShell, Bash, or other scripting languages
• Knowledge of HTML5, .NET 4.0, Postgres, MySQL & Oracle
• Prefer basic understanding of the following from previous work/classes/research and/or relevant pervious jobs/internships:
  • C#,.Net core
  • Visual Studio 2019, GIT,
  • various SQL databases including Postgres and MySql
  • Python ,PowerShell, Bash, or other scripting languages
  • AngularJs, HTML5, and MVC design patterns
• Ability to work in groups/teams

• Visual Studio 2019, GIT,
• Computer skills including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint
• Pursuing final year of university studies towards bachelor’s degree or seeking Masters/PhD in Computer Science/Engineering, Computer Information Systems, or related coursework

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS / WORKING CONDITIONS

• Rig yard trips may be expected from time to time.
• 20% travel to rig yards and field.
• Able to lift to 20 lbs.
• The primary location for this position is an office environment.
