What will you be doing?

Barclays Services Corp. seeks Software Developer, AVP in Whippany, NJ (multiple positions available):

• Work with Business users in gathering the user requests and then developing tableau reports to accommodate business needs
• May Telecommute
• Responsible for designing, developing, and delivery activities across Volcker spectrum including liaising with asset classes, Risk managers, Auditors and CRIS organization
• Design, develop and operate a data lake platform using Python, Apache Spark, Hadoop, Sqoop, Hive, PIG and SQL to build various ETL analytics and data quality and risk control components. You will automate deployments using TeamCity, Nexus & Nolio
• Modify software systems using scientific analysis and mathematical models to predict, measure outcome and consequences of design

What we’re looking for:

• Employer will accept a Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or related field and two (2) years of experience in job offered or in a related occupation
• Alternatively, employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field and five (5) years of experience in job offered or in a related occupation
