Job Description

The Sponsor project manager will have oversight of the Contract Team, and at the discretion of the Sponsor, this team will be augmented by staff and/or other contract resources. The Sponsor requires transition of its billing, service catalog and order management process, from one single application to another. The Sponsor will provide migration code required for the transition.

  • The Contractor Team shall provide application development support for new development.
  • The Contractor Team shall document and provide the Sponsor updates and maintenance actions performed on the system as well as maintaining and updating any system design documentation, SOPS, guides, and FAQs that support the Sponsors system.
  • The Contractor Team shall implement design and development tasks required to execute the build process.
  • The Contractor Team shall manage and resolve infrastructure-related issues that cause degraded performance or outages.
  • The Contractor Team shall ingest and execute design and development requirements from the Sponsor to enhance tool capabilities.
  • The Contractor Team shall streamline workflow processes for an employee dashboard inclusive of all order management requirements.
  • The Contractor Team shall provide system administration support for deploying applications to an AWS multi-zone cloud environment.
  • The Contractor Team shall adhere to security requirements within applications to align with the Sponsor’s compliance and data protection requirements.
  • The Contractor Team shall be responsible for various O&M activities that may require some development to accommodate changes to the Sponsor’s system which result from evolving Sponsor requirements and ongoing efforts to add, delete, or change the number applications within the Sponsor’s system.
  • The Contractor Team shall maintain the Sponsor’s AWS Cloud assets for the application.

Required Skills

  • Demonstrated experience with JavaScript UI Framework such as EXT-JS or Angular JS.
  • Demonstrated experience with deployment and delivery of minimum value increments.
  • Demonstrated experience with Java development.
  • Demonstrated experience with Data ETL or Perl scripting.
  • Demonstrated experience with DevOps tools such as GitHub, Subversion, Jenkins, CruiseControl, Maven, Artifactory, or Confluence.
  • Demonstrated experience using relational database tools such as Oracle or MySQL.
  • Demonstrated experience incorporating user acceptance testing as needed.
  • Demonstrated experience working in an agile environment.
  • Demonstrated experience managing and supporting AWS services to include EC2, KMS, and patching.
  • Demonstrated experience working at all tiers of the architecture to include web UI, Business Logic, and Database layer.
  • Demonstrated experience with data analysis.
  • Demonstrated experience incorporating DevOps practices such as sprint planning, continuous integration, and testing.
  • Demonstrated experience with Apache HTTPD, Linux Shell or PowerShell scripting.
  • Demonstrated experience using Amazon Web Services such as Simple Workflow (SWF), Data Pipeline, Relational Database (RDS), CloudWatch, Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2), Elastic Block Store (EBS), or Simple Storage Solution (S3).
  • Demonstrated experience with Linux based administration.
  • Demonstrated experience providing visualizations and reporting in tools such as Tableau.

Desired Skills

  • Demonstrated experience with Sponsor’s security requirements to include providing strong data protection.
  • Demonstrated experience with the Sponsor’s security and accreditation process to provide support to maintenance of security records.
  • Demonstrated experience integrating software with Sponsor’s LDAP, PKI and must use services.
  • Demonstrated experience integrating with various customer applications using web services.
  • Demonstrated experience with AWS and other Security Tools.
  • Demonstrated experience with basic project management principles.
  • Demonstrated experience in the Sponsor environment with requesting application/server certs and updating AMIs.
  • Demonstrated experience with ServiceNow.
