Job Description

The UCSF-ZSFG Trauma Recovery Center (TRC) is an award-winning program that is the first of its kind in California. It is designed to help survivors of violent crime overcome barriers to accessing mental health treatment, health care, and legal resources in the acute aftermath of trauma. The TRC provides trauma-focused, evidence-based therapy and assertive clinical case management services to survivors of interpersonal violence and traumatic brain injury. We are proud of the work we do. We believe in building a diverse community of providers that matches our clients’ needs. We are deeply committed to the values of equity and inclusion. We provide all staff with weekly on-site supervision and extensive training.
Under the supervision of a senior staff clinician, the incumbent will provide clinical case management services to TRC clients. The incumbent will also respond to the ZSFG Emergency Department and other medical units to help conduct bedside referrals for survivors of targeted community violence. This position requires timely care coordination with a diverse multidisciplinary treatment team, documentation, community-based outreach and accompaniment, relationship building with community partners, and identifying new available resources and creating workflows to help clients access the identified resources. There are two positions available.
The final salary and offer components are subject to additional approvals based on UC policy.
