Join our team: Social Strategist Coordinator


Outside, Inc. is looking for a full-time Social Strategist Coordinator starting July 2023. This strategic thinking Social Strategist Coordinator will join the energetic and collaborative marketing department. The Social Strategist Coordinator will play a key role in supporting the post-sales marketing team in striving for client satisfaction and campaign execution across creator content campaigns on social platforms. The Social Strategist Coordinator will report to the Director, Client Success.


This position works closely with the Director, Digital Sales Strategy, the Custom Content team, and the Post-Sales Client Success team across the Ad Marketing org. Their job duties include collaborating with the sales team and internal teams (media planning, creative strategy, and custom content) to ideate and package custom social and OCN-specific solutions for our brand partners. Additionally, this person is responsible for execution and delivery of all OCN and creator-led programs.


Within 1 month, you will:

  • Updating social performance data and communicating optimization needs in real time to meet reporting deadlines (Pressboard)
  • Actively track performance of posts and transfer metrics to our reporting tools (Smartsheets) from campaign launch through delivery
  • Owning post-campaign reporting for social posts, ensuring all posts and data are entered into Pressboard
  • Scheduling social posts for multiple campaigns across platforms (Sprout Social)


Within 6 months, you will:

  • Define and outline creator terms
  • Work with Content Team on developing Creator Brief based on campaign content direction
  • Assist in reporting and recaps
  • Negotiate with and contract Creators based on client approval and final terms
  • Exclusivity / usage / deliverable communication in outreach to Creators.
  • Execute all creator-led campaigns and monitor all delivery, including optimizing for performance
  • Kick off roster development with pre and post sales teams
  • Work with content team, client and Client Success Manager on developing client approved travel itinerary as needed
  • Serve as Day to Day main POC for Creators
  • Pitching and revising Roster based on client feedback


Within 12 months, you will:

  • Work with Client Success Managers to determine KPIs and performance needs
  • Proactively reach out to potential creators to establish relationships and future opportunities
  • Maintain roster of talent and creators for use by Ad Marketing and Custom Content teams
  • Provide solution based strategic adjustments to optimize campaign performance


What YOU bring to Outside:

  • The ideal candidate has 2+ years of background in social media management and/or creator marketing and is exceptionally organized
  • Proficiency in Facebook Ads Manager and understanding of social marketing platforms
  • This is a team environment. We’re looking for a coordinator who is able to manage timelines, deliverables and multiple stakeholders.

  • Proficiency in Facebook Ads Manager


Entirely remote jobs that could be performed in Colorado: Employees can expect to be paid a salary of between $45,000 to $55,000. Additional compensation may include a bonus or commission . Additional benefits include health care, vision, dental, retirement, Flexible Time Away, sick leave, and more.
