We are focused on the creation of booking opportunities and development of entertainers through consultation and management services which are integrated with business and financial literacy to equip our clientele to be better business leaders. Our services are extended to entertainers of all levels including elite clientele such as Charles Walden, a popular comedian who stars on hit shows, "BET Comic View" and "Def Comedy".

Under our portfolio, we are proud to added a podcast and hair business, Poppins Urban Podcast and Poppins Extensions Plus

Poppins Productions is seeking to bring onboard 4 Social Media Specialists to join our team in providing assistance for our corporate office and sister organizations, Poppins Extensions Plus and Poppins Urban Podcast. We need a knowledgeable and dependable individual with an ability to be innovative and work well under pressure, especially as it relates to the entertainment and beauty world.

Social Media Specialist Intern

SOCIAL MEDIA SPECIALIST (Intern) will be supporting the digital media staff to develop and implement outreach and promotional campaigns to boost brand engagement and increase revenue.

Their duties include but not limited to

• Support marketing team at live and online events
• Complete assigned task
• Create, coordinate and execution of the social media campaigns and design
• Respond to reader comments and oversea creative design
• Create weekly and monthly editorial calendars to promote company and client brands on various social media platforms and website
• Track social media engagement to identify high-performing ideas and campaigns for scalability using social media metrics
• Create and distribute content such as blogs, infographics, videos and press releases on social media and traditional news outlets
• Collaborate with other departments (Marketing, Website/IT, i.e.) to manage reputation, identify key players and coordinate actions

Qualifications:

• Knowledge of online marketing and good understanding of major marketing channels
• Ability to work within a team environment or independently
• Experience using social media metrics
• Associates, Bachelors, or currently enrolled into an accredited college or university (preferred and but not required)
• Ability to multitask and attention to detail
• Knowledgeable about social media metrics (preferred)
• Excellent consulting, writing, editing (photo/video/text), presentation and communication skills
• Time Management and organizational Skills
• Previous coursework and volunteer experience and/or 1-2 years of professional work experience will be considered as well
• Must be proficient in MS Office products
• Must demonstrate strong communication and written skills
• Strong Interpersonal skills
• Adequate knowledge of web design, web development, CRO and SEO
