The Escape Pod is looking for a Social Media Manager:

Social Media Managers at The Escape Pod are a part of the Strategy team here that has coined the nickname the Strat Pack. They are thinkers and doers with a strong POV, not one-trick-ponies. We’re looking for someone eager and passionate about social media, who wants to build brands in the social/digital space, and who understands how to build communities across all social channels.

What You’ll Do:

• Be eager and passionate about social media
• Understand how each social platform behaves, how to create bespoke content for each, and how to create client POVs about the latest and greatest social content and trends
• Be responsible for composing weekly, monthly, and quarterly social reports for clients
• As a Social Media Manager at The Escape Pod, you will be the point person for all things related to social media and community management on a brand.
• Facilitate influencer programming
• Be passionate about finding opportunities to bring brands into cultural conversations on each platform

What You’ll Bring:

• Expresses curiosity, uncovers social & cultural trends and ask questions
• Excellent time management, communication, and organizational skills
• Creative writing, editing, and proofreading skills - high attention to detail
• Demonstrates sound judgment in all facets of communication
• Experience with social reporting and has the ability to make social performance data digestible for client teams
• A team player who demonstrates ownership in projects
• Proficiency in Excel and Google Docs
• Ability to learn new tools quickly, multitask, and prioritize to meet critical deadlines
• Experience using research and social listening software like Sprout Social, Brandwatch, Netbase, Trackmaven
• Experience using social media scheduling software
