Job Summary:

We are seeking a Social Media Manager to join the team to run the social media for three of our new, exciting beauty brands. One brand is already live and the other two will launch in Q4 2023. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who wants to join a dynamic, international team in a key role to the business.


Responsibilities:


  • Manage day-to-day social media activities, including scheduling and publishing posts, monitoring engagement, and responding to comments and messages.
  • Stay abreast of the latest influencer marketing trends and identify opportunities to leverage influencer partnerships effectively.
  • Analyze social media data and generate reports to measure the performance of campaigns, track key metrics, and identify areas for improvement.
  • Coordinate with the email marketing team to ensure consistency and alignment in marketing activations. This role might include giving guidance and direction on email as well
  • Monitor social media trends, tools, and emerging platforms, and recommend innovative strategies to stay ahead of the curve.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive social media strategies for our three beauty brands, ensuring consistency across platforms for each brand and alignment with overall marketing objectives.
  • Write caption copy for each social media post and gain approval.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and best practices to continuously enhance our social media presence.
  • Identify and collaborate with relevant influencers and brand ambassadors to amplify our reach and engagement.
  • Grow and engage our online community by implementing effective social media campaigns, contests, and collaborations.
  • Collaborate closely with our influencer co-founders who create the visual content, including images and videos.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, creative, and product development, to ensure social media content aligns with brand messaging and product launches.



Requirements:


  • Excellent understanding of social media platforms, especially including TikTok, Instagram and YouTube, best practices, and trends.
  • Strong creative and visual content skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with influencer co-founders and designers.
  • Proven work experience as a Social Media Manager or similar role, in the beauty or lifestyle space.
  • A passion for beauty, a keen eye for aesthetics, and a good understanding of the target audience.
  • Proficient in social media management tools, analytics, and reporting.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to meet deadlines and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Comfortable with commerce functions in social channels, such as TikTok Shop and Instagram Shopping
  • Experience in developing and implementing successful social media strategies that drive engagement and brand growth.
  • Knowledge of influencer marketing and experience in managing influencer partnerships is a plus.
