Job Description

A beauty and fashion marketing agency is looking for a social media manager/ account manager to join their team.


Our small team works with a variety of companies in the fashion and beauty world, with an occasional client or two that may be out of this scope (eg. restaurants).


The ideal candidate needs to be a super creative and confident individual who is not afraid to take charge of up to 4 clients at a time, whilst also contributing to a working team at a high level. We pride ourselves in great customer service, under promising and over delivering as well as our creative and flexible process.


This role will start off as a part time contract based role and during your 3 months of trial period we will build you up to work with us on a full time contract role basis. This means that you will start off with 1 client and we will build your responsibilities as you get comfortable in your position. When a new client signs on, we give every candidate the chance to pitch their best ideas to us and we will give the client to who we think is the best fit.


New York City based candidates are preferred, however for the perfect candidate we are open to other USA states too.


This will be a mostly remote role, with the exception of onsite content days as well as max. 1-3 weekly meet ups with the rest of the team in Manhattan (if you live in NYC).

This means out of the box ideas, hard workers, creative thinkers, skilled professionals that are very comfortable with marketing and converting followers into customers for our clients.


We are haters of cookie cutter marketing strategies here. We want to see unique voices with great results for our clients.


What you’ll be responsible for per client:

  • Occasional blogs.
  • Build omni strategies on several platforms. This includes social media, email marketing and more.
  • In the early stages, you will be creating all content for your clients that they won’t be providing so we are looking for sharp photography, videography and editing skills as well as the necessary equipment.
  • Posting and engaging on social media platforms such as Pinterest, Instagram, TikTok, Threads, Facebook and more.
  • You will also be expected to attend at least 2 meetings a week with the founder of the agency where you have to update her on what’s been going on with your clients and what your plans are going forward.
  • In the beginning you will be expected to run the full account, but as your trial period ends, and your client list grows, we will hire content creator assistants, graphic designers, paid ad specialists and more, according to our clients’ needs so you will be responsible of handling your own client projects and delegating your team to bring the best results for you.
  • Possible email marketing, website tweaks, automated email set ups and more sales generation tactics. This depends on each client
  • You’ll be expected to analyse results at the end of the month and create a report for each of your clients
  • Every client will be offered weekly meetings. Most clients take us up on it. These meetings last about 30 mins to an hour each.
  • Community management on several social media channels
  • Paid meta/ TikTok ads


This role is for the candidates who want to build their career in marketing. They are driven, enthusiastic and extremely knowledgable in marketing.

  • Previously accomplished results
  • Has a passion for fashion, skincare and/or beauty.
  • Sales experience is a plus
  • Results driven, creative and confident personality
  • Minimum 2 years of marketing experience
