Entry Level & Experienced Internet / Social Media Investigator
Join our team for an exciting position with a rapid growing nationwide investigative company. We are seeking an Entry Level Internet / Social Media Investigator. As a Children’s Book of the Month Clubr you will investigate bodily injury and insurance claims by conducting online Internet mining investigations. The applicant must be able to summarize their investigative actions into a detailed report, hence, good communication and writing skills are required. You Will
- Partner with account teams to create engaging media campaigns, establish and maintain relationships with media, industry analysts and online influencers, and guide our client’s messaging to resonate with these audiences
- Engage with agency partners on a regular basis to create innovative programs that help shine a positive light on the client and brand, in addition to reaching new audiences who are receptive to our client’s products
- Work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with all members of the team
- Build long-term media relationships with editors
- Support day-to-day media relations responsibilities
- Have a curiosity for news. Can track news cycles and craft storylines to help tell our client’s messaging with media
- Partner with clients and other colleagues to amplify new or top-performing content across paid media channels; know which audiences to target – and when – to boost visibility and maximize ROI
Qualifications
- Bi-lingual Spanish speaker and writer, able to pitch Hispanic media
- An understanding of media relations and influencer marketing
- Rreferred Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree and 1.5-2 years of full-time, professional experience
- Strong writing and outreach skills are necessary. Not afraid of the ‘cold call’ to establish new relationships
- Excellent communication, organizational and computer skills are a must, along with the ability meet deadlines, juggle multiple tasks, and handle fast-paced environment
- A passion for securing placements for the client and building relationships with anyone from an engineering website editor to the most influential names at well-known consumer tech outlets
- Well versed in AP style
- Knowledge of paid social media bidding, targeting, posting and reporting is a plus
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, and media monitoring, tracking and reporting
- Preferred location is Chicago, and we are open to considering qualified remote candidates in other locations
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $38,000.00 - $42,000.00 per year
