Social Media Graphic Designer (Freelance)

You are social-first, you know the latest memes, and you are driven to change the standard of care for women’s health.

The Lactation Network is looking for Social Media Graphic Designer (Freelance) to join our marketing team! We are looking for someone to help us elevate our social design through illustrations, engaging graphics, and seamless photo integration. This contract position will be responsible for creating ~15 assets per month which will include graphics, animations, videos, and other multimedia content for our social media platforms.

We are a small, tight-knit, purpose-driven organization with aggressive growth goals in 2023 and beyond. We don’t have all the answers and we don’t expect you to, either. We do expect you to be curious, hardworking, and striving to be your best self.

For a candidate to be considered, a portfolio of work must be provided, preferably accompanying the application

What you’ll do

• Ensure quality and brand consistency across all visual touch points
• Create new ways to display visual information
• Design, create, and produce graphics for TLN’s social media profiles on LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok
• Design new infographics from clinical information
• Create and edit short-form video
• Design and executing new formats for our social media content

What we need from you

• Strong understanding of social media platforms, design guidelines, and best practices for Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, and LinkedIn
• Portfolio of work that demonstrates skill across, social, imagery, motion, and graphic elements
• 3- 5 years graphic design experience, with a focus on social media channels
• Photo/video editing and animation skills
• High EQ
• A strong relationship builder
• Ability to approach problems with creativity and curiosity
• Proficient in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, Canva and in-app social editors
• Incorporate feedback and take/give direction well
