Evansville Harley-Davidson is looking for an enthusiastic, motivated Social Media & Events Coordinator to plan marketing strategies, events, and social media activities that align with corporate objectives and strategies to drive increased traffic and sales. Design and develop promotions for our website, social media, variety of digital channels, and print. We have a ton of fun in the workplace but are very dedicated to our career. Duties and Responsibilities - Social Media & Events Coordinator :
  • Work closely with Marketing Director to execute organization-wide promotional and communications priorities
  • Handle guest complaints reasonably, showing empathy and a positive attitude, and demonstrate our commitment to “Make Things Right”.
  • Be honest and fair in all business dealings.
  • Plan, coordinate, and execute ongoing customer communication through a variety of channels, including mailing lists, e-Newsletters, call blasts, text blasts, social media, in-dealership promotion and personal follow-up to encourage additional sales, maintain customer relationship, and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Execute dealership’s marketing plan; maintain routine updates of the marketing plan. Coordinate with Marketing Director and General Manager on development and creation of the marketing plan.
  • In coordination with the Marketing Director identify paid advertising opportunities in order to maximize exposure for Evansville Harley-Davidson
  • Professionally promote the dealership’s products and services to attract new customers and/or target markets
  • Update dealership website events calendar regularly and additional changes as necessary.
  • Model superior guest service behavior by maintaining positive relationships with guests, employees, GM, and owner(s).
  • Be prompt and available for flexible scheduling.
Social Media:
  • Work closely with dealership staff to identify opportunities for social media content
  • Effectively promote dealership and events on social media
  • Create content schedule and develop content for all of the dealership’s social media channels
  • Manage online dealership presence. Respond to all guest-submitted reviews, comments and messages .
  • Assist with paid social media advertising.
Event Coordinator:
  • Promote events on social media and in all phases of the sales process, actively invite customers and prospects to suitable event
  • Communicate with dealership staff regarding all event logistics, create site map, and manage day-of event logistics
  • Take photos at all events
  • Identify and execute lead capture opportunities for all events
  • Book all event vendors communicate with them regularly. Shop for supplies for all events, set up tables, event areas, food preparation
  • Plan and execute dealership events, large and small, both onsite and offsite
  • Actively participate at events while ensuring staff and volunteer levels are met for all special events
Skills, Qualifications, and Physical Demands Required:
  • Willing to participate in photos and videos
  • Understand and utilize all social media platforms
  • Knowledge of or experience marketing Harley-Davidson motorcycles, and other products sold by the dealership, or the demonstrated ability to quickly learn them is preferred.
  • Highly organized and willing to use Outlook, Teams, Excel, etc.
  • Graphic design experience a plus
  • The ability to withstand all working conditions and physical demands.
  • Customer service oriented
  • Communicate effectively with people in all levels of the organization
  • Event planning experience preferred
