About the job

Gold Rush Gaming is looking for a Social Media Coordinator to join our growing team!


Responsibilities:

·Support Digital Media Supervisor with planning and executing social calendars to help increase both insights and social media growth

·Actively research social media and marketing trends to stay current

·Collaborate with Graphic Designer and Digital Marketing Supervisor to plan, create, and schedule all social media content.

·Meets and communicates with staff and other companies/agencies to facilitate planning and progression of Gold Rush Gaming Website and App

·Ensuring timely responses as sole point of contact between Gold Rush Gaming and all social media inquires

·Ensures that all social media platforms are consistently well-structured, entertaining, informative and easy to understand for all parties

·Track social profiles of partners to ensure legal posts are published

·Execute community events to increase awareness of the brand as well as build relationships and help the local community

·Ability to effectively and efficiently move around work areas and different locations

·Must be flexible and able to travel to different locations throughout the Chicago area based on promotional and event needs, as well as installation of marketing material

·Maintain a positive company image by providing courteous, friendly and efficient customer service

·Analyze results of social media efforts, submit monthly social media recaps to Digital Marketing Supervisor

·Performs tasks to support the marketing team for Gold Rush Gaming


Qualifications

·Previous experience in various social media platforms, Hootsuite, Meta Business Suite, and Hubspot preferred

·Bachelors degree in marketing or communications field required

·Extensive knowledge of social media

·Knowledge in phone application and website development preferred

·Must possess excellent customer service, problem solving skills and an eye for detail

·Must be able to organize and maintain a wide variety of activities in a multitasking fast paced format

·Some marketing or special events experience and basic understanding of finance and drivers of performance

·Computer literate with software systems to include Windows, Excel, Publisher, Adobe, and Power Point

·Must be able to obtain and maintain all licenses/ certifications per Federal, State and Gaming Regulations

·Knowledge of community and surrounding areas a plus

·Extremely organized and diplomatic with the ability to work well under pressure

·Must be able to work well as a team and independently

·Ability to perform physical requirements of position

·Flexible schedule, evenings and weekends are necessary

·Strong verbal and written communication skills

·Minimum 21 years of age
