Summary

The Social Media & Content Specialist will help manage and execute on GE HealthCare’s organic social media strategy, editorial calendar, community management and bring our brand to life every day through our social media ecosystem (LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram). The role requires strong communication and collaboration skills, as well as a deep understanding of the healthcare industry and social media landscape. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a track record of driving engagement and growth through social media. They are masters at ideating creative social media campaigns, supporting recommendations from inside the business on social media content, and executing campaigns focused on delivering against key KPIs.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Has a critical eye to evaluate creative content, whether it is visual or editorial
  • Elevating actionable insights and ideas based on cultural, media, and business trends with recommended budget and investment levels needed to support
  • Support cross-functional trainings and meetings, knowledge sharing with regional social media managers and management of social media compliance and guidelines
  • Support the global social media strategy and editorial calendar for GE HealthCare’s corporate social media channels (@GEHealthCare), including building recommendations and social media plans and recommendations for strategic initiatives in key markets
  • Management of agency and creative talent and partners
  • Guide project management of program timelines, social media updates, and monthly and quarterly analytics and reporting.
  • Ensure continued management of brand safety and community management programs
  • Support influencer marketing campaigns in partnership with agency, providing recommendations on influencers and evaluating risks/benefits
  • Drive creation of innovative social media content and campaigns that support brand creative, thought leadership, and key business and product priorities. Ensure all social media content delivers on our brand identity, tone of voice and purpose
  • Building and maintaining relationships across GE HealthCare Marketing, Communications, and Regions to educate, develop and champion social media best practices, trends, and efficiencies

Required Qualifications

  • Strong project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • For roles in USA - Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 6 years of experience in Job Family Group(s)/Function(s)).
  • Experience in editorial writing, editing, and publishing to recommend headline, social copy, image or video assets, and other tests across target personas to improve engagement
  • 3+ years of experience of social media marketing and content creation, digital marketing strategy experience within marketing, brand, corporate communications, or agency environments
  • Experience developing social media metric dashboards and making performance recommendations based on results and engagement
  • Proven experience with LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook and Instagram content creation, channel management. Experience with social media management tools (e.g. Hootsuite, Sprout Social, etc.) and analytics platforms (e.g. Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, etc.)

Desired Qualifications

  • Preferred: B2B marketing and/or healthcare/medtech industry experience
