neverthirst helps bring clean and living water to the unreached. Since 2008, we have served more than 1.1 million people worldwide, and currently work in 8 countries in Africa and Asia. We work in remote, hard-to-reach places through local partners—indigenous to their countries who help platform the gospel through every water project. Position Objective
In this position as the Social Media & Communications Strategist, you’ll run all neverthirst social media—owning content strategy, creation, and execution—and develop marketing emails, manage website communications, and support campaigns in sync with the Marketing Director.
By being successful in this position, you will play a significant part in ending the water crisis and seeing the gospel brought to remote, hard-to-reach places.
Position Responsibilities
- Building the social media content plan and maintaining a daily calendar
- Managing website blogs and copywriting
- Supporting marketing campaigns through organic social, email marketing, and web
- Managing creative photo and video assets at neverthirst
- Executing new ideas to increase engagement and audience growth
- Creating all content—with strong visual storytelling, copy, and video (reels) skills
- Knowing + implementing platform best practices and new trends
- Strategic expansion to new platforms (TikTok, YouTube)
- Writing, designing, and developing highly creative and engaging marketing emails
Skills & Experience
- Strong creative and communication skills (esp. writing and mobile video-editing)
- 2-4 years of experience creating social content and running social media channels for an organization
- An adherence to neverthirst’s Statement of Faith (www.neverthirstwater.org/faith)
- A portfolio of email marketing work that you are proud of because it built a strong brand connection, drove action, and met marketing goals
- Ability to juggle multiple tasks and adapt quickly to new projects on short timelines
- An eye for design and typography + basic brand design skills
- Proven experience in growing a brand through strong visual and written communication
- A video-first mentality and ability to create reels from existing and new content
- Expert knowledge of all things digital and social with a pulse on trends and Christian subculture
- A portfolio of social media work that you are proud of because it is engaging, results-oriented and features creative storytelling – with ideas that you generated and had a significant role in executing (from Twitter to TikTok)
- A passion for seeing the water crisis end along with a longing to see the gospel made known among unreached people groups.
- A willingness to throw yourself deep into the role; not just strategy/channel management, but a love for creating content and executing fresh ideas.

- A Stipend of $125 per month to cover gym memberships and/or counseling services
