Overview
- Raise awareness for events through supportive social media coverage.
- Utilize good judgment in safeguarding our brand image in social responses and content.
- Stay abreast of key industry trends, best practices, competitive insights and emerging social media trends such as new platforms, videos, cadence, hashtags, etc.
- Engage with existing fans and grow followers within each brand.
- Optimize hashtags and sharing through copy, creative and keywords.
- Identify and propose new opportunities appropriate for the brand.
- Moderate the collection, curation and integration of user-generated content on social media
- Publicize events (e.g. trunk shows, bridal fairs, etc.) to raise awareness and drive high levels of attendance and participation by targeted audience.
- Liaise with digital partners on our paid social to ensure we are meeting KPI’s.
- Recommend responses and escalate issues to appropriate parties (the transfer of customer issues or complaints to client service team).
- Create social content including copywriting, photography, video and other assets on your own with input and alignment with cross-functional stakeholders.
- Capture live events and behind the scenes content using photography and video.
- Continuously optimize content effectiveness through data-driven insights.
- Oversee online contests, polls, quizzes, product giveaways, etc.
- Create and manage ongoing content calendars by brand to prioritize and execute/publish social campaigns globally.
- Ensure brand consistency, voice and quality across social communication.
- Monitor social media channels, initiate conversations with and respond to community comments referencing our brands.
- Monitor campaigns and translate anecdotal or qualitative data into recommendations.
- Monitor broader digital conversations regarding brands and stores; develop recommendations for customers as appropriate.
- Articulate meaningful campaign level insights internally and externally as needed.
- Cultivate and engaged audience through targeted posting and the creation of content that responds directly to community needs.
- Monitor reporting and benchmarks (weekly and monthly) to continually improve channel performance.
- Drive consistent, relevant traffic and leads across social channels to meet goals and objectives.
- Maintain continuous, daily social activity.
- Passion for social media and demonstrated initiative in researching/implementing new practices.
- Fluency with social media channels including Instagram, Facebook and TikTok.
- Strong ability to write clear, engaging and cohesive messaging with target audience in mind.
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
- Flexibility to complete responsibilities when needed outside of standard work hours.
- Experience using content management tools such as Sprinklr, Later, Hootsuite
- Be procedure and process orientated with a strong work ethic and positive attitude.
- Familiarity with running boosted and paid ad campaigns on social platforms.
- Strong understanding of how social campaigns impact broader company business and marketing objectives.
- Strong understanding of third-party analytical programs such as Instagram Insights and Facebook Business Manager.
- Impeccable attention to detail with excellent organizational skills and ability to self-manage working effectively to a deadline.
- Three to five years of experience managing social media content for consumer-facing brands (community manager, social media specialist, or similar).
- Skilled in photography and video creation.
- Ability to establish and meet tight deadlines, change directions when necessary, and manage multiple projects at once.
- Strong social media expertise with experience in creating social media content and executing social media programs in a business setting preferred.
- Knowledge of project management and collaboration tools such as Microsoft Teams and Wrike
- Ability to stay calm under pressure and always portray the correct professional Company image to the public in any situation.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, Business or related field preferred. Equivalent work experience may be considered if candidate meets other qualifications
