Job SummaryWe are seeking an outgoing and energetic soccer coach to join our team! As a Coach, you will design and lead age-appropriate practices and drills, offer guidance and mentorship, and assist with team administration. If you have a sports or coaching background and want to make a real difference in the lives of children, we want to hear from you! Children look up to their coach as mentors and the interaction they have with the coaches can last them a lifetime.
Responsibilities
  • Follow all health and safety guidelines
  • Provide positive feedback, guidance, and encouragement
  • Follow age-appropriate workouts focusing on technique, endurance, skill development, and drills.
  • Lead structured practices
  • Communicate with parents/guardians
  • Individualize practices to suit each child’s abilities
  • Assist with all administrative matters relating to the team
Qualifications
  • Previous experience coaching children/students is preferred
  • Comfortable with speaking to parents
  • Knowledge of physiology, exercise technique, and body mechanics is preferred but not required
  • Positive, motivating, and effective interpersonal communication skills
