Skilled Laborer Jobs

Pontchartrain Partners, LLC is looking for motivated Skilled Construction Laborer to join our coastal protection team! The right person will need to assist with site cleanup, fueling/ greasing equipment, and assisting pile driving crew with other task. They will also assist in setting the pre-cast concrete bridge panel.

Who are we? Pontchartrain Partners, LLC, founded in 2009, is a Veteran-Owned Business that is based out of New Orleans, Louisiana. We specialize in Heavy Civil and Marine Construction, Coastal Restoration, Disaster Response, and Facility Support.

Benefits

• Hourly rate between $13 - $18 per hour.

What We Are Looking For

Skilled Laborer Must

• Direct traffic when necessary to ensure safety of pedestrians, motorists and work crew
• Identify utility lines
• Back-fill trenches and pits when necessary
• Conduct work with proper protective equipment and safety restraints
• Perform setup and cleanup tasks at job site
• Perform general maintenance of construction equipment and vehicles
• Lift heavy loads up to 70 lbs and navigate construction job site terrain
• Provide labor support as needed for specialty crew
• Have a high school diploma or general education degree (GED)

Skilled Laborer Should

• Have a basic understanding of construction principles and procedures
• Have marine experience
• Keen attention to safety and overall work environment
• Be comfortable working in high-stress environment with extreme weather fluctuations
• Have construction industry experience
