Job Description
Summary Of Functions
Under the general direction of the VP of Test & Repair, the Site Manager position is responsible for managing the repair operations in Indianapolis, IN to ensure an organized and timely process for completing repair production orders and projects. The Site Manager's primary role is to manage the day-to-day production, processes, and employees. In addition to maintaining the highest of quality standards while achieving performance goals for the repair processes.
Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and maintain employee daily production
  • Monitoring and controlling expenses and budgets
  • Work with staffing agencies or HR to discipline and/or release employee as required
  • Ongoing development of your team and processes
  • Submit and approve employee's time with agencies and Sagent HR (Paycor system)
  • Monitor employee attendance, correcting issues as needed
  • Monitor the health and safety of our workforce and act accordingly
  • Manage employee work schedules
  • Responsible for meeting customer deadlines and maintaining KPIs set forth in customer contracts
  • Counsel, coach and document employees and supervisors that fail to meet production goals consistently
  • Work with Engineers when needed on new development or improvements for existing test systems or processes and achieve the highest repair production goals
  • Manage the opening and closing of the facility while maintaining security integrity
  • Maintain high levels of quality and on time performance of all products moving through the repair lab
  • Work with Program Manager and Data Analysts to produce and manage customer reporting requirements
  • Personal ongoing self-development and personal growth as an employee
  • Work closely with customers and vendors in a collaborative effort to accomplish objectives
  • Responsible for providing employees the equipment, tool, parts, and support needed to perform their duties and meet production goals
  • Planning and goal setting for future projects or based on provided forecasts
  • Work with staffing agencies or HR to recruit new employees when required
  • Foster teamwork and promote company culture
  • Work closely with team Supervisors to establish daily production goals
  • Conducting timely performance evaluations
Skills/Knowledge/Experience Required
  • Ability to work effectively individually and as part of a team
  • Should possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to be flexible with job duties and scope of work
  • Experience working in ERP systems
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and develop employees
  • Demonstrated ability to perform tasks to completion
  • Specialized training in management techniques preferred
  • Ability to read business unit financial statements
  • Outstanding interpersonal relationship building and development skills
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in business or related on the job experience in management
  • A minimum of three years managing technology services
  • Excellent computer skills in a Microsoft Windows environment. Must include knowledge of Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to use functional and situational reasoning
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, effectively balancing multiple concurrent assignments
  • A minimum of five years of responsible leadership experience in management positions
  • Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
