Job Description
The Champion Fuel Food Program Site Coordinator will coordinate the distribution of an afterschool meal program and monitor and maximize all programs at a specific assigned school. The main responsibility of this position is to distribute pre-packaged meals to students in all school-based after school activities while adhering to CACFP guidelines while building productive long-term relationships at our sites that maximize our programs.
Qualifications
  • Must be at least 18 years of age and authorized to work in the U.S.
  • Must be a motivated self-starter.
  • Must be dependable and have transportation to assigned serve site.
  • Must have at least a High School Diploma or GED with at least 1 year customer service experience; or enrolled in a college or university.
  • Must be able to pass a background check.
Responsibilities
  • Dispose of any unserved meals and trash.
  • Responsible for ensuring students and afterschool leaders are aware of the meal program and feel encouraged to attend the meal service each day.
  • Submit daily CACFP documentation and hours worked to Program Manager
  • Ensure children eat all meals on-site.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Ensure the completion and accuracy of all required documentation for CACFP.
  • Ensure all meals are distributed to all students in various afterschool activities, while adhering to CACFP regulations and local health and safety standards.
  • Receive and count the pre-packaged meals available for distribution upon arrival each day.
  • Must be able to attend weekly in office Site Coordinator meetings every Wednesday.
Job Pay Rate And Hours
  • PART-TIME: Most shifts will be three to four hours in duration but could be up to 7 hours per day based on meal volume either Monday through Thursday, or Monday through Friday at the same assigned school, with the same assigned shift each day. Most programs will run between the hours of 1pm-6pm.
  • This position will begin in August 2023 with the new school year.
  • $16 per hour
