Job Description

Derco Aerospace, Inc., a Lockheed Martin Company, is an industry-leading aerospace distributor of spares, components, and services. Derco is seeking an experienced and self-motivated Electro-Mechanical Technician who is looking for a challenging and diverse work environment. The position requires relocation to Milwaukee, Wisconsin and is a Monday thru Thursday 4X10 work week.
Technician responsibilities include the troubleshooting and repair/overhaul of Electro-Mechanical aircraft components, operating test equipment and returning the component back to service in an airworthy condition. Quality workmanship and attention to detail is a must. This position reports to the Shop Manager.
If you are hired, you will be performing an important safety-sensitive job covered by the U.S. Department of Transportation’s Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). Regulations require that you participate in an alcohol and drug testing program for the following drugs: Marijuana - Opioids - Cocaine -Amphetamines – Phencyclidine – MDA (methylenedioxyamphetamine) – Heroin (6-Acetylmorphine) - or a metabolite of these drugs.

Basic Qualifications:
Education Requirement of at least high school diploma or equivalent. An aerospace technical degree or higher is a plus.
Basic qualifications include at least two years of aircraft component repair experience; or possession of either a FAA A&P license or repairmen certificate. Basic electronics, electrical wiring, electrical motor and mechanical experience a plus.
Basic Excel, Outlook and Word skills are needed

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
