Shipping Clerk Details

• Commits to the implementation, maintenance and continuous improvement of Quality and Environmental Management systems.
• Full Time work available
• First Shift ( Monday through Friday )
• Assists in the completion of a materials management operational guide.
• Assists in the completion of a plan for every part (PFEP).
• Consistently adhere to and support company policies and procedures.
• Interface with other departments to meet DSC goals.
• $ 40,000.00 / annually
• Issues written and oral instructions.
• Completes purchase orders for outside shipping services. Track all parts at outside service processing’s (OSP) to ensure timely return.
• Provides communication support with outside services suppliers.
• Receives all pack lists.
• Research and resolve all inventory related problems with scheduling, shipping and or management.
• Responsible for creating Pull Sheets, Pack List, Bill of Ladings, sending ASN’s and creating invoices for all shipments.
• Temp-to-Hire position
• Updating trucking schedule.

Shipping Clerk Qualifications

• Required to have a forklift license and experience operating a forklift.
• Must maintain above average problem-solving skills as well as excellent communication and organization skills.
• HS Diploma or GED Required. Prefers some College coursework with Classes in Business Communications.
• Prior work in an MRP/DRP systems environment.
• Requires knowledge of Cycle of County and Inventory Controls-Accuracy Programs.

• Applicant may be subject to a background check
• Pre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment
• Must have 6 months of Shipping experience.
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Applications.
