Shipping Clerk Jobs

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Maintain close relationships with supplier representatives.
• Inspect goods and verify their quantity and condition against purchase orders.
• Pull ordered parts from inventory and distribute them to the appropriate service technician.
• Track, log, and update inventory records of all incoming/outgoing products.
• Conduct regular audits of inventory levels, ensuring accuracy according to established procedures.
• Provide exceptional customer service.
• Maintain clean and organized inventory and receiving areas.
• Properly dispose of any trash, empty containers, and packaging material.
• Resolve any issues or discrepancies found in incoming deliveries.
• Receive, process, and report all incoming and outgoing shipments to management.
• Prepare items for shipment by packing, labeling, and arranging appropriate transportation.

Qualifications:

• Customer-focused and committed to providing exceptional customer service.
• Ability to operate a forklift is required. (We will Train the candidate once hired)
• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Previous experience in an automotive dealership shipping and receiving position is highly desired.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, highly active environment.
• Proficient in using computers and software applications to maintain records, track shipments, and update inventory.
• Detail-oriented with good problem-solving skills.
