Shipping And Receiving - Direct Hire 3Rd Shift

TAC Manufacturing, Inc. in Jackson, Michigan is looking to directly hire Shipping and Receiving Associates for our distribution team!

We are willing to train qualified candidates to immediately fill our vacancies.

• Must have a sense of urgency and work well under pressure
• Familiarity with standard work
• Required to work 3rd shift (9:00pm - 5:30am)
• Must be able to work frequent overtime, including weekends and holidays

• Starting pay is $17.00, plus a $1.00 shift premium for working 3rd shift
• General understanding of lean manufacturing and concepts

Knowledge

• Ability to work in a team environment

• Ability to read and understand written instructions and safety regulations governing performance of job duties
• Ability to work independently with little supervision

Physical Requirements

• Regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 55 pounds.
• Regularly required to stand and use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls and communicate
• Occasionally required to climb or balance; stoop, kneel, or crouch
• Frequently is required to walk
• Specific vision abilities that may be required by this job include: close vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
