Ferguson is seeking the right individual to fill an immediate need for a Shift Manager (2nd shift) in our Holly Springs, NC Distribution Center. If you are a proven leader in warehouse management, inventory control, process management, work-shift coordination, and are organized with great communication skills, this is the position for you!

Responsibilities:

Responsible for the workload planning, production, and execution of a fast-paced operation with 10+ hourly associates and the leadership and development of salaried leaders in a building of over 78,000K Sq ft.

The Shift Manager (2nd shift) will oversee associates whose hours are 2:30 pm - 12:30 am

In addition to the responsibilities above, you will:

• Lead all aspects of shift operations to include selection, shipping, receiving, cross docking and trailer loading operations
• Lead all aspects of inventory control in our warehouse and overall quality program to meet daily levels of service and perfect order metrics
• Workload planning is balanced to reach budget and production goals
• Run DCs quality functions: supervise internal/external quality controls; track service commitment levels and effectiveness, develop quality initiatives; implement standard methodologies.
• Establish weekly operations plans to ensure all customer volume is processed in a timely manner
• Coordinate and ensure all safety and regulatory compliance in a proactive and positive manner

Qualifications

• WMS and LMS experience strongly preferred
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred
• Project management experience desired (LEAN, KAIZEN, Agile)
• 5+ years’ management experience in supply chain distribution
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to prioritize workload appropriately in order to balance multiple demands and meet timelines as required
• Proficient in OSHA and DOT regulations

Pay Range:

Estimated Ranges displayed are Monthly for Salaried roles OR Hourly for all other roles.

This role is Bonus or Incentive Plan eligible.
