Work Schedule: 8:00 a.m. - 4:10 p.m.

Job Overview:

St. Bernard’s School is a K-9 independent boys’ school founded in 1904. The school, located on the Upper East Side, serves a diverse community of approximately 365 students and 100 employees.

St. Bernard’s offers young boys of diverse backgrounds an exceptionally thorough, rigorous, and enjoyable introduction to learning and community life. The St. Bernard’s Upper School comprises grades seven, eight, and nine. The successful applicant would work closely with the other seventh-grade homeroom teacher in terms of curriculum, instruction, and care for the boys. The seventh-grade year is an important year for helping students to adapt to the academic expectations of the Upper School.

In compliance with NYC’s Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for this position is $75,000 to $135,000. St. Bernard’s School considers factors such as (but not limited to) the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate’s work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as market and organizational considerations when extending an offer.
