About the role:

WEG Electric Corp. has a great opportunity for a Service Administrator to join our team in Duluth, GA. This role serves as a primary point of contact for all aftermarket technical and warranty inquires supporting WEG products and customers.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Support the setup and management of new vendors.
  • Provide training and mentoring to more junior team members, as appropriate.
  • Other duties and tasks as assigned.
  • Perform other administrative duties, as needed.
  • Process return material authorizations (RMA) for defective products.
  • Manage tasks with limited assistance.
  • Receive and process orders for billable services.
  • Support and resolve tasks related to internal processes.
  • Maintain availability to answer incoming calls to support customer request.
  • Process purchase orders to third party suppliers.
  • Review invoices and other pertinent inquiries.
  • Communicate with customers and service shops concerning the status of open cases.
  • Evaluate and process inquiries related to warranty claims.
  • Comply with all company and departmental procedures, while making suggestions for productivity and efficiency improvements.

Education:

  • High School diploma or GED. Associate degree in administration, electrical, electronic or equivalent is highly preferred.

Knowledge / training:

  • Mastery of customer service skills.
  • Microsoft Office (with emphasis on Excel) .
  • SAP preferred.
  • Clerical knowledge required.

Experience:

  • 1+ years of experience.
