Essential Responsibilities:

As a Sr. Systems Administrator, you will be responsible for the management of both on-premise and virtual infrastructure in post production with minimal supervision. You will administer these environments to ensure the efficient deployment of infrastructure, application management, automation, systems integration, and supporting services. You will administer a diverse range of infrastructure components such as physical and virtual servers(Windows, Linux), virtualization technologies(VMWare, Hyper-V), storage(Compellent, Nexsan), patching(WSUS,SCCM), backups(Veeam, Rubrik). You will support systems such as DNS, DHCP, Active Directory, Group Policy, LDAP, NFS, CIFS, IIS, Apache, NGINX. You will create and update documentation for all systems for current and future IT team(s). You will be responsible for proactive capacity planning, performance tuning, monitoring and problem resolution for both hardware and software issues. You will proactively engage with hardware and software vendors to swiftly resolve problems and maintain seamless system operations. You will mentor and guide junior-level administrators in providing efficient and effective infrastructure support.

Qualifications:

• Familiar with GIT, Github, Bitbucket or other code repository technology.
• Experience in AWS, GCP, or Azure cloud platforms.
• Bachelors’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Systems Management, or equivalent experience.
• 5 Experience in physical, virtual, and cloud infrastructures.
• Experience supporting an environment with strict security standards.
• 5 years experience Linux Server Administration
• Experience in automation tools such as Jenkins, Ansible, or Terraform
• Experience with containers and container orchestration, Docker and Kubernetes.
• 5 years experience in BASH, Powershell, Python
• 5 years experience in Microsoft back office applications ie Exchange, SQL, Sharepoint, Office 365
• 5 years experience Windows Server Administration
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Must be able to bridge the divide between business units and technical teams.
• Advanced troubleshooting and support of hardware and software issues.
