A Day in the Life

Cardiac Ablation Solutions offers cardiac mapping and ablation solutions to treat patients with abnormal heart rhythms. Our vision is to help patients worldwide by advancing innovation for the diagnosis and ablation of cardiac arrhythmias, enabling clinicians to perform procedures with superior outcomes.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.

  • Management and leadership responsibility at Affera for sourcing/procurement (goods & services), supplier management, MPS/MRP, capacity planning, material receipt/storage/issue, invoicing, shipment and distribution in and out for products.
  • Master Schedule responsibilities ensuring that the schedule meets customer requirements (net requirements) engaging with relevant Supply Chain partners.
  • Develop and maintain hopper of site supply chain process improvement projects.
  • Responsibility for timely sourcing of raw materials in support of master schedule, engaging with Supply Management partners on escalation communication and partnering on performance and contractual negotiations.
  • Develop and maintain best in class purchasing and planning processes for the site, onboarding tools, training and development programs.
  • Ensure compliance and adherence to Medtronic policies and procedures
  • Supply Chain lead for products produced at the Affera Bedford and Billerica sites.
  • Responsible for following Key Performance Indicators. Schedule Adherence, Net Requirement Attainment, Backlog, Inventory Value & Turns, Inventory Accuracy (including cycle counts), Site Supplier On Time Delivery
  • Inventory Management responsibilities for the site ensuring inventory accuracy, inventory availability for master schedule whilst meeting free cash flow targets.
Must Have: Minimum Requirements

  • Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience with 5+ years of managerial experience, or advanced degree with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience with 5+ years of managerial experience
  • Bachelors degree required in related discipline.

Nice to Have
  • Medical device or related industry experience a plus
  • Lean and Six Sigma certification strongly preferred
  • Competent in ERP Systems namely MRP,DRP, JIT, S&OP processes and methodologies (SAP experience an advantage).
  • High level of familiarity with Microsoft office suite.
  • Project Management experience / qualifications a plus
  • 15 years + experience in Supply Chain, Manufacturing, IBP/S&OP, Supply Management.
  • People Management experience a plus
