Inclusively is partnering with a financial services company to hire a Senior Sourcing/Procurement Manager.

In the role, Senior Sourcing Managers must:

  • Develop sourcing strategies to support Firm Programs.
  • Collaborate with Divisions, Senior Leaders and Sourcing Leaders to manage and execute defined Sourcing Plans through the development and distribution of RFx's (RFI, RFQ, RFP), vendor communication, development of vendor selection criteria, and collaboration with cross-functional teams including business owners and legal.
  • Collaborate with Sourcing Leadership, Sourcing Managers, Sourcing Specialists, and Buyers to ensure work is properly aligned to resources
  • Lead the negotiation of complex commercial and contractual terms with executives and legal representatives.
  • Define and develop proactive Sourcing Plans which take into consideration related initiatives over a 12-18 month timeline, divisional goals and objectives, supply-market dynamics, and insights across key areas of spend, while leading the execution of those plans through collaboration with Sourcing Leadership.
  • Identify and cultivate relationships with strategic vendors at the executive level
  • Lead multiple, concurrent sourcing initiatives in a cross-functional team environment that will include strategy, vendor selection, market intelligence, vendor and product viability and contract execution.
  • Support the talent development of the Sourcing team by mentoring Buyers, Sourcing Specialists, and Sourcing Managers while sharing knowledge, experience, expertise, and leading practices across Divisions
  • Maintain accurate records and data within the contract management system and other related sourcing tools
  • Direct Senior Leaders towards the best purchasing decision by balancing solution cost with business requirements.
  • Use procurement tools and systems to create operational efficiency and visibility across the enterprise
  • Identify and pursue ad hoc opportunities to reduce product/service costs and lead the implementation of operational improvement initiatives

Qualifications Required in the Job:

  • Requires a minimum of 10 years related work experience, preferably involving negotiation and contracts
  • Comprehensive understanding of legal and contracting environments
  • Diverse understanding of operating environments of areas such as Finance, HR, Marketing, IS.
  • Strong people and project management / organizational development skills required
  • Ability to communicate highly complex cost models, risk, and business concepts at the most senior levels throughout the firm and with any given vendor
  • Understanding of Supply Chain management concepts and procedures
  • Bachelor's degree required. Master's degree in Business, Law, Information Systems or Supply Chain Management preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence without authority and communicate upward and across divisions are required.
  • Ability to identify and avoid potential conflict of interest to ensure ethical business standards and practices are followed.
