Senior Software Engineer Jobs

A logistic and supply chain tech start-up is looking for a Sr. Software Engineer to join the tech team at Tustin, CA. This role requires onsite working in the office.

About the Role

We are looking for a Software Engineer to join our engineering team. You will work with our incredibly talented US team who are strong believers in quality, results, and diverse perspectives.

Responsibilities

· Lead software development cycles; design, implement, test, and deliver highly scalable and performant products.

· Work with a global team to ensure alignment across the company’s tools, systems, and platforms.

· Partner with product managers and executive leadership to research, plan, and shape core products.

· Design and develop internal tools and scripts for auto operational jobs.

· Triage product or system issues and debug/track/resolve by analyzing the sources of issues and impacts.

· Maintain tech stack quality through regular code reviews and providing feedback based on best practices.

Qualifications

· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field.

· 4-7 years of experience with full-stack or backend software development

· Required technical familiarity in: Python, Typescript, React, Deno/Node.js, PostgreSQL or MySQL, Git, pandas, Docker, Redis

· Nice to have

o Languages:

Java, Scala, Kotlin, Rust

o Technologies/Tools/Libraries:

Apache Spark Streaming, Kafka, Spring Boot, Terraform, Kubernetes, GraphQL, Google Cloud, MinIO, Tensorflow

d3.js, Next.js, Remix, Deno Fresh, Cloudflare Workers, Figma or Sketch, Recoil, Jotai

o Databases:

SurrealDB, Fauna, MongoDB, MinIO

· Strong experience improving large-scale web applications

· Experience with application, software design and micro-service architecture.

· Experience developing large-scale infrastructure and distributed systems.

· Strong database fundamentals including SQL, performance, and schema design.

· Self-learner and a team player.
