Position Summary:

Veros is looking for an experienced, full stack Software Engineer to join our engineering team. As a full stack software engineer, the ideal candidate will be responsible for the design, development, and implementation of Veros products and services. Additionally, the candidate will contribute to the quality and successful delivery of the products through adherence to software engineering principles and best practices. This position requires the ability to work independently, while collaborating as a member of an Agile team, where trust and integrity are key to successful delivery of quality software.

Principal Responsibilities:

• Assist team members in transforming and maintaining a high-integrity, agile engineering organization
• Design, develop, test, and maintain Veros applications and services
• Serve as an expert on Veros applications and provide technical support
• Revise, update, refactor, and debug existing code
• Collaborate closely with team members to produce quality software
• Provide Production support of Veros applications and services
• Participate in requirements analysis and product / sprint refinements
• Work in close partnership with cross-functional teams and management
• Participate in code reviews, product increment demos, and team retrospectives

Qualifications and Requirements:

• 3 years of web application development utilizing Microsoft technologies (ASP.NET, C#)
• B.S. degree in Computer Science / Computer Engineering
• Familiarity with microservices implementation and testing
• Experience with Agile Scrum framework
• Experience with Subversion, Git and Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery
• Working knowledge of database technologies (preferably Oracle and PL/SQL)
• Familiarity with cloud technologies, managed services, cloud deployments, and containers (Docker/Kubernetes) a plus
• Experience with Front End development using ASP.NET Razor Pages, HTML, CSS frameworks like Bootstrap, and JavaScript
• Experience developing and integrating web services and APIs (SOAP / REST)
• Comprehensive, working knowledge of object-oriented programming, design patterns (MVC, GoF), practices and procedures in professional software development
• 3 years in software development, including requirements analysis, design, implementation, deployment, testing, and maintenance.
