Senior Software Engineer (Azure)

Growing boutique Advisory servicing both government and commercial clients seeks to hire a Senior Software Engineer to join its newly created Cloud Software Engineering team.

Background: SDE will be responsible for designing, developing and deploying end-to-end cloud based solutions using Microsoft Azure services.

What Will the SDE Do:

• Integrate various data storage solutions within an Azure environment
• Architect, build, optimize, and scale the next generation of web applications and solutions for clients
• Collaborate with product teams to design and implement user friendly web applications & functioning software modules that execute on web servers or cloud-hosted environments.
• Develop back-end components utilizing frameworks like Node.js or ASP.NET Core
• Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in Azure services and cloud computing technologies.
• Develop front-end features for applications utilizing JavaScript (React.js)

More Info:

• Full-time role + hands-on + REMOTE w/ minimal travel to DC

Responsibilities/Experience:

• Proficiency in any contemporary programming languages i.e.: JavaScript, Python, C#, TypeScript
• Experience with Azure solutions and services: Azure Functions, Azure App Service, Azure SQL Database, Azure Storage, and Azure Active Directory.
• 5+ years of engineering experience designing complex web applications
• Solid understanding of back-end development using frameworks like Node.js, ASP.NET Core, or similar.
• Hands-on experience with front-end technologies like React, Angular, or Vue.js.
