Job Description
Hey there! We're Bump Health - a women's healthcare company that's all about supporting expecting and new moms! We provide safe and healthy products, all-natural skin care products formulated for pregnancy, relaxing tea blends, access to free breast pumps, and more!
Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the successful completion of projects, ensuring quality standards are met and deliverables are on time. At the end of the day, you'll be responsible for making sure everything we work on is done right and on time.
  • Proactively identify and resolve project-related issues. No project is without its bumps (pun intended), so we're looking for someone who's proactive in solving problems!
  • Understand technical details related to agile software development, data analytics, project management best practices, technical infrastructure like AWS, queues, email service providers, 3rd party integrations through APIs, etc. Don't worry, you don't have to be a tech guru, but it'll definitely help if you've got some knowledge in these areas!
  • Manage timelines, estimates, quality assurance, and be very detail-oriented in their written and verbal communications and specifications. Attention to detail is key here - we want to make sure everything we do is top-notch!
  • Manage multiple technical projects simultaneously and be the sole project manager for the company. Don't worry, we won't make you clone yourself - you'll have a team of 5-10 engineers to help you out!
  • Write use cases, stories, epics, and tickets for engineers to act upon. You'll be the one translating technical details into understandable language for the rest of the team to work from.
  • Work with internal department heads, engineers, and executives to understand their needs and priorities. We're a tight-knit group here at Bump Health, so you'll have about 10 stakeholders to work with, as well as our awesome CEO and COO.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and priorities related to engineers and their time spent on particular projects and tasks. You'll be the one keeping everyone on track and making sure we hit our deadlines.
  • Communicate project status, risks, and issues to senior management. Keeping everyone informed is a big part of this role - we want to make sure everyone's on the same page!
Requirements
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. We're a friendly bunch here at Bump Health, so we're looking for someone who's got great communication skills and can work well with others.
  • Minimum of 5 years of project management experience. We're looking for someone who's been around the block a few times and knows their stuff.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field. We're not too picky about what you studied, as long as you've got the experience to back it up!
  • Strong understanding of technical details related to software development and engineering. We don't expect you to be a developer, but it'll definitely help if you can understand the technical side of things!
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and analytical skills. Attention to detail is key in this role, so we're looking for someone who's organized and analytical.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. We're a close-knit group here, so we need someone who can work independently, but also collaboratively when needed.
  • Proven track record of managing complex projects from conception to completion. We want to see that you've got what it takes to get things done!
  • Experience in the health and wellness industry, specifically in products surrounding pregnancy. We're all about supporting expecting and new moms, so experience in this industry is a big plus!
If you meet these requirements and are excited about the opportunity to join our team, please apply with your resume and a cover letter telling us why you'd be a great fit for the role!
