Job Description
The ClassWallet Business Development – Government Sector team is focused on identifying and providing ClassWallet solutions to serve federal, state and local government agencies with administering programs more efficiently, providing a


seamless solution to ensure that funds are used for their intended purpose while virtually eliminating the risk of fraud, waste, or abuse. Building trusted relationships and meeting the complex needs of government contracts is paramount to all activities conducted by this multifaceted team. The Senior Program Manager’s primary role is to provide leadership with project management principles, tools and processes to advance the ClassWallet company initiatives. Specifically, the role supports and enables the sales generation and retention activities. A successful candidate will be able to perform and lead the


“responsibilities” listed below. This position reports directly to the Lead Program Manager.


Requirements


Develops and fosters positive and professional working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders; demonstrating a customer-centric focus and sense of urgency for both the company and customer success!


  • Perform the following for contract procurement and maintenance:
  • Identify and maximize automation and tools to processes
  • Brings project management skills and employs strategic Project Management Institute (PMI) methodologies to successfully coordinate support to the prospective and/or contracted products and services to State and Federal customers. Primarily:
  • Engage all company stakeholders to understand and support needs associated with RFI/RFQ/RFP opportunities and/or newly added customer programs
  • Analyze, innovate and implement procedures from the point of prospective opportunity, securing contract, then introducing to ClassWallet’s operational implementation pathway. The role will follow existing procedures, build new, implement, train and provide ongoing guidance for successful process execution of a program


▪ Copious documentation using respective technologies and procedures used by ClassWallet.


▪ Scope analysis/Information Gathering


▪ Risk management


▪ Define and document customer and contractual requirements (via project management plan and/or other company tools)


▪ Establish timelines and tasks (scheduling)


▪ Identify, engage and anticipate needs of key stakeholders associated with the sales and contract process.


  • Provide superb written and verbal communication; specifically, technical writing and organization support to the RFI/RFQ/RFP (at the direction of the RFP Manager) and Contract Procurement processes. Requires strong attention to


detail and excellent organization ability.


  • Craft and conduct training (internal and external) and in collaboration with ClassWallet specialized teams (Sales, Marketing, RevOps, etc.)
  • Support the ClassWallet Business Development – Government Sector team with strategic department initiatives, as needed


Qualifications


  • Proven ability to communicate effectively, both verbal and written forms including some technical writing and organization ability
  • Minimum of 5 years of proven contract-management practices of applying the project management lifecycle (initiate, plan, implement, manage and control and closeout deliverables)
  • Minimum of 2 years experience supporting business development with RFI/RFQ/RFP bids and/or state and government contract procurement; experience with similar complexity and large-scale size would be acceptable
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience providing exceptional service and building relationships with customers; preferably with government and/or complex- contract entities
  • Program Management Professional (PMP) Certification – preferred
  • Prior Training and solution development experience preferred
