What We Need


We are looking for a Sr. Product Manager, Live Operations who will collaborate with Game Designers and other cross-functional teams to develop and drive our live operations strategies as well as launch engaging new in-game content, events, and sales that maximize the potential of our products. As part of a small team that believes in self sufficiency, the Senior LiveOps PM needs to be agile and well-rounded in matters related to the live operation of mid-core mobile games.


What You Will Do


Reporting to our Director of Product, you will:


  • Present product updates, analysis, and insights to colleagues, including game team, cross-functional partners, executives, and the broader organization
  • Identify areas of opportunity for new live ops oriented features/process improvements to continually lift game performance
  • Demonstrate initiative by analyzing the state of the game, identify key issues, formulating actionable items, and driving initiatives through production into a live game
  • Define business goals for live operations initiatives and deliver KPI improvements
  • Develop and own the strategy and roadmap for live operations, in-game events, and sales
  • Analyze and report on live ops event performance, from high-level KPIs to deep dives into specific areas
  • Prioritize features, conduct experiments, create in-game events, and develop monetization strategies that enhances player engagement and monetization
  • Monitor performance of in-game content, identify patterns, and use the learnings to inform live operations decisions
  • Gain a deep understanding of our players, content, and competition through research, data analytics, and experimentation


What Will Make You a Great Fit


  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Basic to Intermediate SQL
  • Experience working with external developers
  • Advanced Excel is required
  • Experience with liveops event design, implementation, and analysis
  • Experience managing game monetization, sales, and offer creation and optimization
  • Understanding of mid to hardcore F2P Live Service games (RPGs/4X)
  • 5+ years experience in product management or live operations management role on live free-to-play mobile games
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple concurrent initiatives from concept to completion
  • Deep empathy for the users
  • Experienced product manager with goal-oriented mindset and the ability to set clear milestones and objectives
  • Experience delivering impactful features and in-game events and sales that are heavily informed by both data and user research
  • Experience using experimentation as a strategic tool to break down big problems into testable hypotheses and analyze results
  • BA/BS degree, MBA a plus
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills with the ability to derive conclusions from data, clearly communicate findings, and leverage the data to make informed decisions
  • Passion for mobile games
  • Strong track record of growing mobile games after launch
  • Proven ability to work cross-functionally, influence, collaborate and work as part of a team

The pay range for this position in California at the start of employment is expected to be between $130,000 and $170,000 per Year. However, base pay offered is based on market location, and may vary further depending on individualized factors for job candidates, such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and other objective business considerations. Subject to those same considerations, the total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a bonus and/or equity awards, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment. If hired, employee will be in an 'at-will position' and the company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation or benefit program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
