Senior Process Engineer – Slurry – Renewables

Join an innovative renewables technology client based in Massachusetts seeking a driven and experienced Senior Process Engineer to work across a number of greenfield energy storage projects through:

• Developing a deep subject matter expertise of critical resource performance within processes though experimentation and analysis.
• Improving product quality through engaging with vendors and manufacturing partners.
• The development of novel manufacturing processes contributing to the client’s high volume production system
• Undertaking capital and process capability studies and making improvements accordingly

Key Requirements for this Role

• 3+ Years experience across various manufacturing processes
• Applicants must be capable of working in a low moisture dry room environment and machine shop environment.
• Creative capability to develop methods of data generation from scratch – Convert art into science
• Proven knowledge of Slurry rheology and quality control parameters for mass production
• Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant subject

Desired Skills

• Experience with mixing, blending and/or extrusion
• Experience in taking processes from lab scale to pilot scale, and to high volume manufacturing
• Lithium-ion battery experience
