Are you a Battery Engineer seeking a new challenge?

We're partnered with an exciting innovator who is looking for a Battery Engineer to evaluate NMC cathode materials for use in the company’s lithium -ion batteries and support all areas of materials testing and reporting.

Responsibilities include:

• Performing other functions as required to support PD operation
• Assemble development cells from hand-built lab prototypes to semi-automated and automated assembly.
• Analyse and report test results and cell data.
• Develop and validate standard test methods and equipment, including physical and electrochemical characterization, and write standard operating procedures.
• Conduct materials characterization testing.

Qualifications:

• MS/bachelor’s degree in chemistry or Materials Science preferred.
• Demonstrated electro-mechanical skills: equipment operation, materials handling, process assembly, and analytical testing.
• Ability to grasp technical concepts and communicate in a data-driven manner
