Senior Pricing Manager Jobs

JOB DESCRIPTION:

The quote / estimator engineer is responsible for:

• Quoting defense, commercial, and transportation projects.
• Establishing the BOM to processing all parts and associated manufacturing processes.
• Familiarity with steel structure fabrication methods such as machining, forming, stamping, mechanical assembly, and various welding are necessary.
• Working closely with sales, engineering, and other cross-functional departments to develop competitive pricing analysis, comprehensive cost build-up, and pro forma financial scenarios for internal decision-making and external quotes to the customer.

EDUCATION:

• Military background or experience with military programs is desirable
• Bachelor's degree in any type of engineering or equivalent experience

EXPERIENCE:

• Experience in tool and die and steel forming
• Experience in working with defense, commercial, and transportation projects
• Experience in steel fabrication and welding of steel structures
• 10 years' experience as a Mechanical Engineer

COMPUTER SKILLS:

• Proficient in CAD design NX, Creo, SolidWork, Inventor or Catia
• Experience with basic computer systems
• Proficient with Microsoft Operating System as well as MS Excel, Word and Project
