Senior Manager/Director Of Test Engineering

Job Responsibilities:

• Collaborate closely with Design, Systems, and Software teams to drive innovative new RF/analog test methods and accompanying device design implementation (Built in self-test, firmware-based testing, etc.)
• Forecast test cost, hardware spend, and resource allocation across organization
• Advantest 93K, Teradyne UFLEX, or other relevant ATE experience preferred
• Drive team towards consistently high quality, first time right test program releases achieving both test time and yield goals.
• Manage and coordinate activities and resources locally as well as with overseas partners at both internal and external factories. Ensure seamless daily handoff to offshore Test Engineering team to realize a 24/7 device bring-up model.
• Lead Test Engineering team in the development of production, qualification and characterization test programs for WLAN, BT, and UWB system on a chip (SOC) devices on ATE (Automatic Test Equipment)
• Develop new DFT (Design for Test) concepts and test techniques to improve test efficiency and reduce cost of test
• Drive the debug of design and process related yield and performance problems
• Manage test development from design kick-off to production release
• Work across product lines and other teams to drive new DFT and Test Engineering approaches within the group and across the company.

Job Requirements:

• Masters or Bachelor of Science degree in Computer or Electrical Engineering with 15+ years of experience
• The base salary range for this position is as mentioned below per year. We also provide competitive benefits, incentive compensation, and/or equity for certain roles. Please note that the base salary range is a guideline, and individual total compensation may vary based on a number of factors such as qualifications, skill level, work location, and other business and organizational needs. This base pay range is specific to California and is not applicable to other locations. A reasonable estimate of the base salary range as of the date of this posting is: $198,000 to $272250 annually.
• Fluent in English
• Self-driven, able to take ownership and initiative of all project aspects while working independently and with the entire team
• Strong programming background (C++, Java , Visual Basic)
• RF communication experience/theory a big plus
• Strong communication and problem solving skills
