PRINCIPAL OBJECTIVE OF POSITION
Responsible for the Information Technology Infrastructure and Resiliency Services provided to the Puerto Rico Sites. The position is responsible to assure a reliable and sustainable infrastructure service from internal/external providers, including but not limited to: Network, Data Centers, Communication Closets, Audiovisual, Hardware Technical Refresh program management and Cybersecurity related activities for the Puerto Rico sites. The incumbent will be directly responsible for the IT Puerto Rico Business Continuity, Disaster Recovery Plans and overall Resiliency working with the sites and headquarters BC teams. The incumbent will assure alignment of IT and GPS strategies for Sites IT Infrastructure. Will serve as an organizational liaison to Site Facilities, Network, Audiovisual, Printing Services, DXC, Client Services, Business Continuity, Hosting organization, and other Site and HQs teams. This position must comply with all Security guidelines, Environmental Health and Safety regulations and the current Good Manufacturing Practices required by the job function.


MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Lead a standardized Business Continuity process and Reliable Infrastructure Operations for IT at the Puerto Rico sites. Includes Business Continuity Plan, Disaster Recovery Plan, and Resiliency efforts including Cybersecurity activities as well as the preparedness process of all PR Sites for the Hurricane season.
2. Assure a standardized solution for Manufacturing Operations IT Infrastructure working with all BMS HQs teams, such as, Network, Cybersecurity, Engineering and Sites Operations.
3. Manage the sites activities of the Data Center operation in regard to Facilities, Utilities Redundancy, and Site Funding projects for renovation and Business Continuity enhancements.
4. Responsible for the sites Network operational status and asset (wireless/fiber/microwave/routers/switches/servers) condition. Represents IT Global Mfg. and GPS, in order to facilitate technology upgrades and training. Functional liaison between BMS and outsourced services providers (BT/DXC/R2/others) following local government and safety requirements. Responsible to communicate incidents and opportunities to assure optimal operation of PR sites infrastructure.
5. Work with DXC for system assets management, recycling and hardware maintenance cycle. Assure sites Backups including DXC and any other custodian follows cGMP procedures.
6. Assist the Enterprise Cybersecurity Team in site Risk Assessments to evaluate new and existing threats or vulnerabilities at sites represented.
7. Serve as the functional liaison to the End User Services team to facilitate and educate sites population on regards BMS technology solutions, driving people engagement and efficiencies. Manage standardization and operation of sites audiovisual equipment to assure alignment to BMS standard solutions.
8. Provides operational priorities and feedback to the IT Provider Management, End User Services per the in-place IT Operating Model.
9. Interact with Sites Functional Areas Management to assure operational requirements are defined for Digital Capability Management alignment.
10. Provide status reporting, issue and risk management for the IT infrastructure of the Puerto Rico Sites.
11. Works within a team environment with other Technical services functions, including Engineering and Manufacturing Technology to assure all technology acquisitions at the site complies with technical, operational and compliance requirements established by the IT organization.
12. Participates in operational strategic and planning meetings. Coordinate with site leadership, vendors and IT staff to oversee patch management and risk remediation plan.
13. Establishes key performance metrics which monitor and assist the team to understand Information Technology Infrastructure and User services performance that can be used to improve the productivity and quality of the services.
14. Ensures that system documentation such as: requirements, specifications, drawings, qualification protocols and equipment manuals for the installation and operation of infrastructure devices are properly maintained and securely kept.
15. Responsible for the planning and monitoring of Data Back/up and Disaster Recovery related activities.
16. Assist on quality events investigations, CAPA and audit observations processes related Manufacturing/Engineering/Laboratory computerized systems infrastructure.
