Senior Infrastructure Engineer Jobs

Job Purpose

This position is the key technical resource for all corporate technology initiatives related to physical and virtual infrastructure required to support Air Culinaire’s daily operations.

Responsibilities And Associated Duties

The Sr. Engineer will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of all ACW infrastructure which includes a mix of hosted solutions, on premise equipment (across 20+ locations), remote data centers, and cloud resources. In cooperation with the Manager of Infrastructure, the candidate will support the ACW Development team through DevOps processes and help shape the overall vision and solutions for the IT department and external providers to support business needs and requirements. The incumbent will design, implement, and maintain solutions used by internal and external customers. The candidate should foster an environment of execution that often requires hands on work to drive efforts to completion with a strong focus on business efficiency and automation.

Key Duties

• ITIL experience/certification preferred
• Microsoft Azure Management & DevOps
• Review existing and emerging technologies to provide strategic technical direction
• Microsoft Intune (Administration and Scripting)
• Desktop Support
• Prior or current hands-on experience in
• Participate in an on call rotation.
• Business Continuity Planning experience preferred
• Knowledge of Security best practices and compliance with standards (PCI and GDPR) a must
• Scrum experience/certification preferred
• Act as technical lead on initiatives to change or implement new solutions
• Other duties as assigned
• Microsoft Office 365 Administration
• Mitigate risk to minimize impact of change on the business.
• VOIP and hosted Call Center Solutions
• Provide Mentorship and Leadership to IT team members
• SaaS, VMs, networking, Azure AD, Monitor, Storage Accounts, Resource Manager, Automation
• Experience with hosted ERP applications like Microsoft Dynamics is a plus
• Networking (Design & Implementation)

• Thorough documentation creation and management practices.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in Computer Science or related field
• Thorough knowledge of modern infrastructure and security practices.

Technical

• Strong ability to utilize PowerShell to script business processes allowing for efficient workflow
• LAN/WAN and ISP fundamentals
• Azure and DevOps mid to senior level experience (Required)
• Thorough understanding of concepts such as VDI, RDS, VLAN’s, SIP/POTS/VOIP, SQL Server, IIS, file sharing, application hosting
• Server Administration (Windows, Azure)
• Active Directory administration and design
• Dynamics 365 (Finance & Operations) administration
• Office 365 administration, problem escalation and resolution
• Knowledge and Implementation of Industry standard automation processes.
• Experience with the implementation of CI/CD Framework
