About us:

Role Overview:
As Sr. Global Supply Manager, you will be responsible for developing the supplier strategy and providing commercial and technical support to the development of optical and scanning related components from development through to production.

What you'll do:

  • Develop sourcing strategies to ensure suppliers are capable of meeting Aeva's current and future technical and business requirements for optical and scanning related components
  • Manage commercial discussions and strategic deal terms including IP rights
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to bring to market best in class optical components as part of Aeva’s overall product roadmap

What you have:

  • Demonstrated expertise in cost structures and should-cost analysis
  • 5 years of commodity management experience
  • Bachelor's degree in an Engineering related field or equivalent experience
  • Established executive network with suppliers producing optical and scanning related components
  • Extensive experience negotiating complex IP and supply agreements with global suppliers
  • A deep technical understanding of commodity management for optical and scanning related components including demonstrated experience working cross-functionally to influence decisions and get alignment on technical documents such as RFIs, ERS’ and SOWs

Nice to have:

  • Postgraduate degree in a Business or Engineering related field
  • Thirst for knowledge and the ability to learn quickly with a strong interest in technology and/or operations
  • Willingness to travel internationally up to 20% based on business needs
